Happy Valentines Day!!

On Valentines Day...

1) Celebrate or Not? Celebrate - nothing special.. he shows his love for me all of the other 364 days in the year - why is today any different?

(2) Most Romantic Gift Received- Flowers - I love flowers.. any gift that I get that is thoughtful is very romantic to me.

(3) Worst Date - Never had a "date" on V Day. We went to "Mike's" restaurant about 4 years ago on V-day.. we never had reservations, and had to "scrunch" in between everyone else.. the service was horrible, and so was the food!

(4) If you could tell your significant other what you’d REALLY like for Valentine’s Day, what would you tell him/her? Who wouldn't want some *bling*? LOL.. I don't know.. just to spend time with him.. I don't need presents for him to show his love for me.. life is to commercialized!

(5) Complete the sentence: “Love means never having to say _______” - I'm sorry when I'm not wrong!

(6) Best Chocolate - Milk Chocolate with Rice Krispies - or those chocolate truffles from Sara's Sweet Delights!! mmmmm..

(7) Dream Valentine’s Menu - a honey garlic chicken wrap from Ringos, and Deep Fried Pickles to start!!!!

(8) Most Romantic Movie - City of Angels

(9) If you had a Conversation Heart that said how you were feeling right now, it would say - I am ME!!!

(10) Pink or Red? Pink definately.. either light pink, or hot pink - not the inbetween pink.

Ok, so I am not romantic.. My idea of romanticism is cuddling on the couch watching a movie. I don’t do candlit dinners and dancing (and for all of you who know Justin - neither does he!!). For me a solid relationship is not about all the gooey love stuff. To be in love is about the everyday things. I don't need flowers sent to work, or a barber shop quartet to sing me a song for him to prove that he loves me. I like the private intimate things he does.. he doesn't have to flash to the world that he's in love with me. He shows it in other ways. It’s about the fact that you can fight about something, but at the end of the day, you still tell each other “I love you”. It’s about celebrating life’s joys, supporting each other in life’s disappointments.

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!
