Merry Christmas.. Happy Ho Ho... and Cricut..Cricut..Cricut...

Merry Christmas!!!!



So - where to begin.. a lot has happened in the last few days... First, I have to tell you that I GOT MY CRICUT!!!!!!!!! I was so excited.. I picked it up Thursday afternoon - which is a story inside of itself! I played with it on Thursday night, all day on Friday (I was off), and on Saturday. In case some of you are not sure what said "Cricut" is - and no, it doesn't rub it's back legs together, and keep me up at night... here is a pic..
Perhaps I'll get Justin to take a pic of me using mine, and you can see it in action. It, of course is a Scrapbooking Tool! It's a die-cutter... as Justin explains it - it's a sheet metal plasma cutter, made to cut paper...

He (my cricut) is only 8 pounds, and is very portable. You can buy cartridges for him - he will cut paper, vellum, and such. I may try chipboard with him, but I don't think the blade is deep enough. With each cartridge, there are different fonts to cut out letters, and shapes. The letters and shapes can be anywheres from 1" to 5 1/2" in height. He's awesome!! I made Erica a scrapbook for Christmas, and used this alot! (Seeings as I started the Scrapbook on the 22nd, and finished it on the 23rd!) This was like an early Christmas Present to myself - with a little contribution from Justin.

Next, it was Christmas Eve!!!



Kassidy was soo excited! They stayed at Justin's parents house, where Santa found them there... all of those presents under the tree aren't even HALF of what the end result was for Presents!!! We had supper, and drinks with Justin's parents. The kids each opened a present..

Kassidy & Lilah each got "Pixel Chicks" - they're pretty cool - have never heard of them.. they're like the new-ago Giga-Pets that I used to have when I was little.. you feed them, change their clothes, play games with them, and they sleep. All electronically. Pretty cool!! Jared got an air-hockey game... never got a pic of that. I played a game with him - I won 9 - 3!!!

Christmas morning - I was up at 5.. to check my turkey (I cooked it in the night.. a wonderful smell to wake up to!!) went back to bed.. up at 6.. checked the turkey - couldn't go back to bed.. I cleaned up a bit, and by 7 sent the dog in to wake Justin up!!! Here I am in my Ho Ho Ho Jammies that Justin bought me.. (I opened them Christmas eve). Rosko wore his Reindeer Antlers proudly all day!! Aren't we festive?? LOL

I think Rosko got more presents then the rest of us! Here he is licking the "chicken flavor" off of one of the bones he received. - excuse the mop bucket in the picture.. forgot to empty it when I finished scrubbing on Christmas eve!!

And - Justin and I had a "Turkey-Off"... I roasted a turkey - he deep fried a turkey (does that surprise you.. haha).. We had 16 people at our house for Christmas Dinner ... here's the pics.. which one do you think looks better?

Then, for Supper we went to Justin's grandparents house... Boxing day we went to my dad's, then to my grandparents house for Lunch, and then to Justin's Grandmothers house for supper.. I had to come to work today to get away from Turkey!!!!
