Twins??

So, as some of you know, I got my fortune told again on Saturday night... a little creepy - alot of the stuff was the same, but there was some new twists!!

Here's a quick recap! Obviously I'm not going to tell you everything, I would like to save a few surprises for myself, and see if they come true..

-Apparantly there's supposed to be an "Official" engagement by the end of 2007. ** well it's about time!!**
-And, this is a good choice.. however there is a man admiring me from a distance.. ** not quite sure what that means**
-Justin's supposed to start buying me "just beacuse" presents.. **this would be nice.. lol**
-Apparantly, I'm going to have 3 children - 2 twin girls, and then a boy.. however, he also told 2 other girls that they were also having twins... if we all get pregnant with twins, I think I will have a heart attack, so for the time being, I'm not believing this one..
-it's supposed to be a financially good year for us
-AND - sometime within the next 3 days to 3 years I'm supposed to win $$ in the lottery - not ALOT, but enough for Justin and I to live comfortably - but no one else.. sorry.. you don't have to suck up to me.. you're not getting any! LOL **this would be VERY nice!!**

All in all, I guess it was a good reading - he told me a lot of the same stuff he told me 15 months ago, but that could be because none of that has happened yet!

OOh - and another thing.. I have another blog..
http://www.kristasscrapclass.blogspot.com this is where I will be posting info on my Scrapbooking Classes...

Have a good week!

The Weirdest Thing Just Happened to me...

SO I was coming out of Sobeys at lunch time, and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing.. arms full of bags, riffling though my coat pockets trying to find my keys.. I headed for the green sunfire...unlocked the door, opened the door, and then noticed something...

IT WASN'T MY CAR!!!!!!!!

So - my car key for MY 1995 Pontiac Sunfire, 4 door, green car opened SOMEBODY elses Pontiac Sunfire (not sure what year), 4 door, green car. Both of our cars were EXACT!!!

When I realized what I had done, I looked around, to see if someone was going to run at me frantically, beat me with their purse for trying to break into their car... (because I would have done the same thing)... I nicely locked the door, closed it and headed to the next row in the parking lot where my car was still parked, locked, and undisturbed.

It was so weird - my heart is still beating quite quickly with the afternoon's events! I can't believe it!!

I felt like I had invaded someone's personal space.. I felt like writing a note, and sticking it under their windshield wiper telling them that oops! I had been in their car!!!

How weird is that?

The crazy thing is that I am getting my fortune told tomorrow.... do you suppose he'll bring it up?

Feels like home to me.. feels like home to me...

It was exactly 12 months ago today that our house was delivered!!! - kind of a crazy thought considering it feels like it just happened! It was such a long wait! We were told that they would call when they left Sussex with it on the truck. I got up early, got all ready, and went to the "Basement" to wait. Carman & Lorraine came over with their video camera to tape the whole event. We waited... and waited.. and waited...By 9:30 that morning, I was a little concerned that they hadn't called - and thought that perhaps I had already missed the call, and I would miss the whole excitement of everything happening, so I called them. The response I got was - ooh, they haven't even loaded it on the trucks yet. There was another house in the way, and they had to load that on the truck, move it, unload it, and then load your house. It'll be about an hour and a half before they get there. So, Justin, Justin's mom and I all went to "Lennies" for breakfast. When we got back to the "basement", they guys were there from NB Power putting in the hydro pole. This is when it all set in to reality. They weren't supposed to be there until the next day, but that's how it goes.

So, when I saw that they had our road blocked off with hydro poles, and trucks and then I saw the transport coming down the road hauling our house, I couldn't believe that it was actually happening. Never in my wildest dreams would I have figured that at 21, Justin and I would be buying our own house...I guess that’s all part of the fun of life!

Someone asked me shortly after we moved in if it felt like home, in which I replied - “Not really, I don’t even know which light switches turn on which lights yet.” So while it may have taken several weeks, if not months, to learn the nuances of the house and to fall into the groove of home ownership, it is certainly feeling like home now.

I love the idea that we can leave the house a huge mess for days on end because there’s no possibility of anyone seeing it as we’re the only two people with keys.

I love the view when I'm sitting on the front deck looking over top of the trees, and seeing the Lake, listining to the boats. I love that we entertain here, that we eat supper on the island in the kitchen, that we totally decorated for Christmas, inside and out (thanks Jus!), and the kids (animals) sleeping with us each night (on top of the covers.. I'm not that crazy!)

Justin takes out the garbage on Thursdays, plows the driveway when it snows and (will hopefully this Summer)mow the lawn when the weeds get thick (if we ever plant grass!!)

We yell from room to room, play the music loud, and keep the temperature low in the winter! (Justin pays the hydro bill.. LOL)

I can only imagine the memories we’ll have in this house after spending several years living here.. hopefully the pitter patter of little feet coming down the hallway in the years to come, and sitting next to each other in our rocking chairs when we're old!

my oh my.. it's been 2 weeks since my last post

and not much has happened.. life's pretty slow right now. Not at work though - we've been going out straight!!

Lets see.. let me try to re-cap the last 2 weeks.. bought new curtains for the living room. Tried to hem them on Sunday. Didn't work so well! I can't cut fabric straight, and by the time I had it straight, I had ruined the curtain, because it was too short! So, I had to buy another panel.. I took them to a "Professional Seamstress" yesterday - no, not my mom.. it would take her 2 years to get them fixed! LOL Some lady in the Brookside Mall has them, and will perfect the art of hemming on them.. it takes a week I guess to hem 4 panels... crazy!

Oh - something else new.. Erica (my sister) moved to Calgary early January. Miss her horribly. I think she's a little homesick right now, so I'm trying to distance myself from her - by not calling her or texting her for the next few days. I can't imagine how she must feel. She's like a 24 hour drive away.. straight driving! 6 hours of flying in an airplane.. HOLY~ I know I got homesick living in Saint John - a 40 minute drive away from home. Hope she's strong and get through it. This move is such an accomplishment for her already!! Miss ya sis!

Other than that, nothing else new.. Libby turned 1 yesterday! YAY! Happy Birthday Libby! Doesn't seem like it was a year ago Michelle had her.. wow how time flies!

I've been working on Charity's wedding invites most of the week this week after work.. they're coming! If only I could get those eyelets to come in the mail faster!!

Well - gotta run.. over and out.. leave me a comment.. I know you're reading this..
