Honey Clean Out The Freezer!!!!!

So - picture this - last night -

My cell phone rings on my way home from work - it's Justin calling to tell me he won't be home til dark because he is going to take a drive on the bike out back of his dad's house to see if he can see any signs of any deer. Great I think - I don't have to make supper until later tonight!

So I get home - and am trying to dry off the dog's feet so he can come in the house, and the phone rings, and rings, and rings - remember, I'm cleaning the dogs feet and if I stop, he'll run through the house with muddy paws!

So I answer the phone finally - this is how the conversation goes;

Me - Hello?
Justin - Honey clean out the freezer
Me - Why?
Justin - I just got my deer

~so I should take you back to the setting of the scene - Justin calls me at 6:10 to tell me he's going hunting, and this conversation takes place at 6:25~

Me - what? You got your deer?
Justin - Yup, and I didn't go out back of dad's.. it was raining too hard, so I went for a drive on the Irving roads
Me - ~still in shock at this~ ooh - ok. How big is he?
Justin - 4 point, about 150 lbs!

So - that's how my night went last night.. didnt have to cook supper until 11, because we spent the whole evening gutting, skinning and cleaning the deer!

But - mmmmm.. I can already taste the gravy!!!

I'd post pics, but they're a little graphic! Perhaps I'll scrapbook them instead!!!

So Moncton went well..

I even came home with money! LOL! Costco was NUTS - picture this - WalMart on Christmas Eve, only with carts 3 times the size! However I did manage to get a few Christmas presents, and a few presents for myself!!

Next was Michaels - again - didn't spend too much.. I could spend 5 days in there! I do believe we spent about 2 hours in there on Saturday!!

Next - Value Village - this is a whole blog post in itself! See, I don't usually shop at Value Village, but according to their Halloween Commercial - they have LOTS of Halloween Costumes - new and used, etc! So in we went. I thought I was going directly into the Halloween section, because as soon as I walked in the store, I spotted this dress that I thought would go well with my costume. Charity was quick to correct me in that I was in the Womens Section, not in the Halloween Section!! Anyways - to make a long story short - that store gave me the heebie jeebies! I prefer to shop at Frenchys - doesn't give me quite the bad vibe that Value Village does.

However, I did get some pieces of my halloween costume! I'll be sure to post some pics of Sat night once we are all donned up for a Halloween Party!!

Last stop - Carsand Mosher - walked around the store and didn't want anything - so I bought a stamp!!

All in all - we had a fun trip! Charity - we'll have to do that more often!!

Last night's class

Went very good - I think. Not sure what everyone else thinks.. and now perhaps I'll have 2 or 3 more people who want to join! This is amazing.. never realized that there would be this much response~~ If the others join, I may split the classes into 2 nights - because 10/11 people is VERY hard I would think.. so perhaps a couple groups of 5 or 6 would be nice... what do you think?

No pics of last night.. the batteries in my camera were dead... :(

So I know you guys are reading this....

So why don't you leave me a comment? I can tell you're reading this because I have a counter at the bottom that tells me how many people have been reading! LOL

Turkey Turkey Ham = my new rendition of duck duck goose! Sunday, we had a Turkey dinner, then a ham dinner. Monday we had another turkey dinner. I think I'm good until Christmas now!!

So tonight's the night.. starting scrapbook classes tonight. Wish me luck! I'm nervous already, and they don't start until 7pm tonight!! I spent a good part of the weekend getting ready for them.. hopefully all goes well!!

I'll post an update tomorrow- and perhaps some pictures too!!

A few things...

So.. no moose. Poor guys.. they called and called on Saturday, and didn't get an answer until dark was rolling in.. and then mr. moose wouldn't come out of the woods.. if only they had another day! Oh well - better luck next time!

Today Justin and Rosko are duck hunting... just talked to Justin. He's soaked, the dog's soaked.. and no ducks this morning. Even too wet for the ducks! Imagine! They'll try again tonight for the night shoot. Maybe they'll get luckier?

SOOOO.. decisions.. decisions.. I want your input on this (whoever reads this blog - leave me a comment below with your input). It has been brought to my attention lately by a few people (you know who you are) to perhaps organize some type of scrapbooking classes or type of instruction... what do you think? Would you come? I haven't mentioned anything to Justin about it yet - simply because I haven't seen much of him over the past 5 or so days.. I'm sure he would think it was a good idea ??!? This is what my idea is -

**Envision this.. ** - Setting up some tables in the basement (or the kitchen/living room), teaching a couple of techniques a class, having the classes about once a week, letting whomever comes have access to my tools - cutters, etc as well as any "scrap" paper, or stuff that I don't use anymore, and charge $2 a class.. have it for a couple of hours on like a Tuesday night or something... would you come? should I charge anything? how many people should be the max size?
