Monday of the long weekend..

On Monday Justin and I went to Hopewell Cape. I have been begging him to take me for At LEAST the last 4 summers.. perhaps more. Got a good deal from the Radio Price Club (www.radiopriceclub.com) on admission, so we went.

We decided to take the "back way", so we went to Sussex, and then through the "Old Highway" to Penobsquis (spelling??) I think.. anyways, Justin is always talking about this Moose outside of Sussex, so he had to take me to it. Apparantly back in the day when it was on the TCH #2, it used to be some type of Zoo or something.. here is a pic of the moose. I don't think it looks like a moose.. what do you think??

So after that little pit stop, we carried on our journey toward Alma, driving through Fundy park, down those twisty turny roads, and up those steep hills.. our ears popped I don't know how many times..

It was fun, just being a tourist in our own Province. We usually just do the same things.. go to the zoo, the board walk, etc etc.. this was nice.. some place different!

I had to sneek this picture.. Justin wouldn't let me take his picture, so I had to run ahead, and yell at him to get his attention!!

When we left the rocks, we drove through Hillsborough, through to Riverview, then to Moncton. Had supper in Moncton, then came home. It was a great day!! Almost like a date! LOL

So.. that's Our NB Day - at least we did something "NB-ish"
